I am a senior upper mid-westerner who grew up in Illinois and landed in a small town about 40 miles north of Detroit by way of the west Chicago suburbs and Park City, Utah. Now a single parent who raised 2 sons to adulthood, I am preparing for a new start post surgery and pandemic, for a life I thought had escaped me. I enjoy canoeing, backpacking, and nordic skiing and am looking forward to reaquainting myself with each.
