Can You Ever Go Back?

People say you are only as old as you think you are. When I get up in the morning and look in the mirror, I am 65. The aches and pains at night tell me I am 65. The age of my boys reminds me I am 65. When I order coffee, they ask my age. The 65 discount. I see news stories or read articles and they talk like the 60s and 70s are ancient history. Few remember what life was like back then. I do. 65. My father died a year ago and my mother is in her 90s. 65…

But today, for 3 hours, I was 38 again.
